Launched in December 2005, BobcatsPlanet.com was created to debate and discuss serveral questions that I had at that time
- Was Primoz Brezec the worst center in the history of the NBA (or WNBA for that matter)?
- Were Kareem Rush‘s bones made out of Tifanny’s crystal?
- Was Raymond Felton better than Chris Paul? OK already… I was occasionally somewhat off the mark.
From those early days of debating the ridiculousness of Bernard Robinson’s spin move and the absurdity of Melvin Ely’s defense, BobcatsPlanet has grown into the leading Charlotte Bobcats fan community. This site which began as a blog has evolved to also include:
- The most active Bobcats forum on the net
- A chat room ( our draft night chats are legendary )
- BobcatsPlanet Radio (download it and memorize it)
Over the years we have been fortunate enough to have been named the top Charlotte Bobcats blog by Deadspin, we have appeared in print in Dime Magazine’s 2007 season preview issue and we have been linked by some of the heavyweights of the sports world including ESPN, SI.com, Slam Online, TrueHoop and many others.
