Bobcats defeat The Heat: Note to Chris Quinn…

Note to Chris Quinn: Don’t ever, ever, EVER bring that weak garbage into the paint against Gerald Wallace. Because if you do it will inevitably be volleyball spiked  into the tenth row and causing you great amounts of despair and humiliation.

Chris, Consider the preceding information a useful piece of advice that you can take with you and cherish for the remainder of your NBA career

A few things that stood out to me in tonight’s game:

  • The ball movement. Hopefully this is a sign that the players are getting a better grasp on Larry Brown’s offensive scheme. The ball movement was crisp, and there were very few quick shots.
  • Adam Morrison: He didn’t shoot well ( 1-6 from the field ), but he still made himself useful during his time on the court with 4 assists in 16 minutes.
  • If a fantasy basketball owner had wet dreams… They would probably be about Gerald Wallace. 34 points, 9 rebounds, 3 assists, 2 steals, 3 blocks, 10 free throws and 2 threes.
  • I believe that we can get away with starting a 6’7″ Jared Dudley against opponents that have a small frontcourt like Miami’s, but against 6’10″ or 6’11″power forwards, we’re going to have to come up with another solution.
  • Michael Beasley is so good, that he makes The Matrix irrelevant.
  • Zero minutes for Matt Carroll????
  • Jason Richardson played solid defense on Dwyane Wade, holding him to 19 points on 5-15 shooting
  • ILBIT – In Larry Brown I Trust.
