Trader Mike

In baseball, there’s a man named Jack McKeon. He’s known in baseball circles as “Trader Jack.” He’s a retired manager who is the oldest manager to win a World Series. But what does all this have to do with the Bobcats? Well, Trader Jack is very similar to Michael Jordan.

Jackson welcomes himself back to Golden State, Bobcats roll 121-110

The last time a star Warrior was traded to Charlotte for almost nothing and returned to Oracle Arena in Oakland, he was given a hero’s welcome. Raja Bell chooses season ending surgery rather than play for the Golden State Warriors

Via Rotoworld
Raja Bell will have the season-ending wrist surgery he put off while with the Bobcats.
Bell would rather sit out the season than play for the Warriors and it’s hard to blame him as he is going to try to get healthy for a free-agent deal this summer. He’ll be an emergency player for Don Nelson tonight as they’ll only dress eight players, but expect the surgery to happen soon. Anthony Morrow, Steph Curry and Corey Maggette get a nice boost with this news.

Wow… Sucks to be the Warriors.

Please welcome Stephen Jackson and Acie Law

espn.com’s Marc Stein is reporting that the Bobcats have shipped Raja Bell and Vladamir Radmonovic to the Golden State Warriors in return for Stephen Jackson and Acie Law.
Jackson had been disgruntled to say the least in Golden State and I believe he had been Keyshawned. The Warriors are still playing Nellie ball and Jackson didn’t fit well and was demanding a trade.
Acie Law is that ever illusive 3rd point guard that Larry Brown covets, although he hasn’t made great waves in the league, he is a servicable back up …
