To yesterdayeeeeee…….(cooleyhighharmony, y’all).
Raymond Felton, Ray-MOND Felton! We will miss you, sir.
Nothing official at press time but it’s likely that the man from Latta, SC is likely bound elsewhere. To me this is sad in a way. Disappointing that after 5 years the Bobcats are so willing to depart with a solid point guard while we have no real options outside of DJ Augustin who has been serviceable but not quite what you’d expect to start on a (former?) playoff team.
Can you blame Raymond at this point for not signing to …

The greatest summer of all time! The GREATEST OFF SEASON EVER!!!! Sunday, sunday sunday!!!!! (That’s my montertruck preview voice)
It’s actually Wednesday and the fun starts at midnight (technically 12:01am Thursday July 1). The Bobcats don’t look to be players in this off-season. After going without a pick in the draft last week, adding some undrafted rookies (or summer league invitees, not sure how all that works), extending a qualifying offer to Tyrus Thomas and apparently playing chicken with Tyson Chandler (or Tyson and his people wavering in his potential on …

When you talk about the Charlotte Bobcats “to do list” this offseason one of the main topics that comes up is the free agent status of point guard Raymond Felton. A Tarheel that was selected fifth overall by the Bobcats and has played his entire career in Charlotte, is an unrestricted free agent and the front office is still trying to decide if they want Felton on that “to do list” of things to get done.
Felton’s career as a Bobcat has been up and down but over the past couple …

Welcome back to our report card series. In the first part, I gave a breakdown of the entire team over the course of this past season. Today and over the next month, I’m going to delve into the individual performances for just about everyone you know on the Bobcats payroll. Our first of those is Charlotte’s embattled hometown boy, Raymond Felton.

Toocool here, with a blog finally. Since it’s now the off-season, I decided to look at our line-up, and analyse how well they did in the normal season, and what they can improve on. I am taking into account that ALL players are resigned/stay on for the next season. Stephen Jackson, Theo and TT’s stats are Charlotte season averages, not the entire season.
The starting 5:
Raymond Felton aka Tonberry:
Stats: 12.1 PPG, 5.6 APG, 3.6 RPG, 1.5 SPG, 0.3 BPG, 2.1 TPG, 33 MPG, 0.459 FG%, 0.385 3FG%
Season: Raymond Felton started …

As a fan it hurts, but having your team lose in the playoffs should hurt.
The Bobcats gave it everything that they had, but in this game as well as the rest of the series against the Orlando Magic, they were simply outmatched. The Bobcats managed to find a way to contain Dwight Howard in all 4 games which is an amazing feat, but they simply had no answer for Jameer Nelson and the horde of three point shooters that the Magic pounded them with game after game.
There were many lessons …

The playoffs put all of your faults on display for the world to see. There is no hiding, There is no covering up. If there is an area of your team that can be exploited then you better believe that it will happen in front of 20,000 screaming fans and a national television audience.
Here are two big things that we’ve learned in the first 3 games:
Jameer Nelson is on another level than Raymond Felton. Jameer has punished Ray this series to a tune of 77 points to 36 ( the …

ESPN - Appreciate Stephen Jackson… Right now Dammit!
Howard The Dunk - Magic-Bobcats All about defense
Charlotte came in with a reputation as a defensive team who sometimes struggles on the offensive end. The Magic, on the other hand, are known for their inside game with Center Dwight Howard and their 3-point shooters (the Magic set an NBA record for most 3-pointers made in a season this year). Scoring inside and shooting the 3-pointer are things …

In the spirit of our Make Love to Pressure T-Shirts we have come up with another design that we think you are going to really like.
Are you feeling it?
Earlier we were speaking of the Make Love to Pressure Shirts. Below is Captain Jack’s reaction to the design:
BCP member Weezy21

It wasn’t nearly that close. Boris Diaw nearly had a triple-double, Gerald Wallace looked like the All-Star he is, and Tyson Chandler was an intimidating prescence against the Joe Johnson and Mike Bibby-less Hawks, who still seek their first 50-win season since 1998. But it was still a historic night, as the Bobcats have now clinched their first non-losing season in franchise history.
