Back-to-back games are always hard on teams particularly when the second game is a road game. One thing that a visiting team can do to be successful in that situation is come out strong, especially when your opponent has been struggling to win. That is exactly what the Bobcats did tonight. They had a very strong first quarter scoring 37 points and limiting the 76ers to 23 first quarter points. Gerald Wallace led the 'Cats scorers with 28 points but the Bobcats balanced their offensive attack ...

The Heat vs. the Bobcats 3/9/10
The Bobcats had a lead (6-4) with a little over ten minutes in the first quarter. They did not have another lead until until only a little over three minutes (3:33) was left in the game. It took a team effort on defense to pull them back into a game they easily could have lost to Miami. The Heat shot a better field goal percentage, a better free-throw percentage, and had fewer turn-overs but could not stop the Bobcats when they had ...

If you had any question how well liked young Stephen Curry is in the Queen City, then that was certainly answered tonight. Returning home to Charlotte as a Golden State Warrior, the rookie received a standing ovation in player introductions and was cheered nearly every time he touched the ball. However, Gerald Wallace, DJ Augustin, and Boris Diaw helped the Charlotte Bobcats ruin his trip home, winning 101-90.

Nights like tonight are when I remind myself why I suffer through losing streaks, ownership issues, bad tv deals, and all the other problems of being a Charlotte Bobcats fan. Being a Bobcats fan means all that, but it also means an annual win or two against the Kobe Bryant-led Los Angeles Lakers, in front of a packed house sprinkled with fair-weather Kobe-lovers, Ric Flair, Bob Johnson, and MJ himself. Tonight was no different, and Gerald Wallace, Stephen Jackson and crew led the Bobcats to a win, 98-83.

The Bobcats vs. the Celtics 3/3/10
I started to worry after one pregame tape I watched in which 'Cats Coach Larry Brown said Celtics Coach Doc Rivers must be glad to see the Bobcats on the schedule. The Celtics have had difficulties at home losing seven of the last twelve home games. Coach Brown said that the Bobcats must appear to Coach Rivers as a "cupcake" game that would help them get back on track at home. Unfortunately for the 'Cats, that appears to be exactly what happened. ...
