I know what you’re thinking… Why draft another power forward with weight problems. While we’re at it, lets make him undersized with a history of knee problems. Sounds like a great investment for our number 12 pick right? Ordinarily I wouldn’t touch that resume with a 10 foot pole, BUT take a look at this rebound versus potential top 3 pick Hasheem Thabeet…
It’s been a while (let’s make that never) since I’ve seen one of the Bobcats almost rip a players arm out of the socket going for a rebound. That rebound was a thing of beauty, Our team desperately needs someone who has the willingness to place someone squarely on their ass if the situation warrants it. Currently we have Raja Bell and… that’s about it. Blair has the beef and the attitude to be that guy.
Take a look at this video and witness the power, the Webber-like hands, the excellent handle for a big man and you think that someone with his skillset and his heart can overcome those 3 inches that he is going to be giving up 82 nights per year, Right???
What do you guys think? Is he worth the risk? Should he be avoided at all costs?
Tell me what you think.

We need someone in the lineup to counter Emeka and Boris’ softness. Maybe he could be another Jason Maxiell.
Considering the fact that Emeka and Diop both have hands of stone, I big guy with great hands and touch would be a great addition, but that is what Sean May is supposed to bring.
Here is an update on Blair via The Sporting News: Blair has lost 40 pounds in the last 4 weeks!!!!
What’s up Ziggy? You see that DeJuan Blair #45 Mix? I made that, just noticed that it was on this site from YouTube insight. Hey, just in case you want any more videos, check out my channel at http://www.youtube.com/RealCollegeBBall . I’ve got 18 mixes thus far and still making more. Up next is Jodie Meeks and then Jrue Holiday and then I still haven’t decided who will be after that, but I narrowed it down to 3: Terrence Williams, Damion James, or Jordan Hill. Feel free to use any of my mixes, I like the publicity. By the way, would you be interested in exchanging links with my site, http://realcollegebasketball.com ? I’m still trying hard to get my site advertised so I can get more forum members. Let me know. You can reply here, I will check it back soon, or you can message me on YouTube.
Thanks,
MVP

He isn’t the guy we truly need. In my opinion these are the 2 best options were the bobcats in this years draft.
1= Draft Gerald Henderson. He has amazing athleticism and can dunk like crazy. Has great defense and a solid shot. He versatile enough to be able to play some small forward but will probably just play shooting guard which we need.
2= We could trade away are pick for some cap relief because we really need it. Also if we get enough cap room we get a player during free agent season which is going to be really good this year.
actually, at this point, the more i see of Blair the more i want him…
this is a crazy situation were in

Emeka is not soft at all. He is just rough on the offensive end. The reason he cannot shine like Dwight is because he does not have a guide, a teacher. Dwight has instruction from Ewing as well as Yao has Hakeem. Emeka has great talent and I think he absolutely has the potential to become a NBA star. I was a David Robinson fan and I definitely think Emeka can be the 2nd admiral. Great atheletcism to run the floor, terrific shot blocker, and they both wear NO.50! And please, don’t trade Gerald, he is one of the best 1-on-1 defender and possibly the best shot-blocker on SF position in the NBA. The only thing he needs to improve is his jump-shot. Also, the Bobcats need a back-up SG/SF, Raja Bell is old he better play around 20 min a game. The Bobcats need another swingman who can defend and shoot 3s. I think Courtney Lee of Magic or Brandon Rush from Pacers will be a good fit. See if we can get either one through or picks, we don’t need so many! Every year the Bobcats have 1st round picks but most of them proved we were wrong. Or we can get one of each with some future picks in the deal of Felton.
