Future Bobcat? Terrence Williams.
At first glance Terrence Williams seems like he would be a perfect pick at #12 for the Bobcats in the upcoming draft. The Bobcats are looking at SG depth to backup or challenge Raja Bell, Williams has legit SG size at 6’6″ & 1/4 in shoes, he plays excellent defense, he fills out the stat sheet and as you can see from the video below, he is an elite athlete.
The big negative that jumps out at me with T-Will is his shooting. He shot 43.1% from the field last season which is something to be concerned about. If you think about the way that FG percentages normally drop for a player’s first year or two in the league compared to their final year of college then it’s pretty disturbing ( I’m not saying that we should expect a Morrisonesque 36%, but 39% his rookie season wouldn’t shock me). If you pair him in the backourt with DJ Augustin it might work out because DJ can shoot the bejeezus out of the ball, but if he is paired with Raymond it would be a disaster because we simply can’t afford to have two people in the backcourt that can’t shoot.
So, is T-Will the guy? Am I worrying too much about his shooting? Is he a Larry Brown type of player?
What are your thoughts?

I think if we keep the pick its between him and henderson. if curry, derozan, or evans drop we pick one of them but really its either T Will or Henderson. I would go with Henderson over T Will. Henderson seems to be more of a professional, he has connections to Larry Brown from their philly days. He played at duke, that could bring in some more of the duke fan base. People would finally say we didnt draft a UNC player, which im not against by the way I love UNC. I am a student there and have loved the program for years.(i think ellington would be great if we moved back to grab him)
So T Will is great but with the horrible FT% and FG% i think he moves behind Henderson on our board.
he is the perfect pick for us at 12,he is the do it all player we have been looking for at the sg position. we can get him at 12 and a player like dante cunningham in the second for the pf spot, whom larry brown loves and compares him to george lynch.
