Hello Bobcats fans. I would like to take his opportunity to thank Teej and Ziggy for helping me out and letting me show my obsession for the Cats through this amazing site. The Bobcats has been a true passion for me through these last 3 years, and now I have an amazing chance to share it with everyone at Bobcatsplanet.com and you guys, our dedicated fans and supporters! This year has been frustrating for all of us and now we finally see light at the end of the tunnel, when the lockout is nearing an end. FINALLY I can follow basketball again.

Who am I, and what am I doing here? I am 22 year old archeology bachelor graduate at the University of Bergen on the west coast of Norway. For the past few years I have followed the Bobcats and watched near every game they’ve played since the end of the 2008-09 season. My passion for the Cats started with playing videogames in 05, the bobcats first season on NBA Live (don’t worry I’ve moved on to 2k), where they were rated a 58, compared to the rest of the leagues average at about 80. I was a sucker for underdogs and the mix of Felton, Okafor and Wallace, orange jerseys, the opportunity to follow a team from the start of franchise history and an underdog feeling made me fall right in love. Now why have I only been watching games the last two and a half seasons? There really is no legitimate reason for that so I have to blame the time difference which is about 7 hours back from Norway. For the last two years I’ve been sitting up until 4-5am 2.5 nights a week to watch the cats play and I can’t get enough. My interest for the NBA and the Bobcats has way surpassed my interest in having a normal circadian rhythm and I’ll be up until 5’am every night watching the NBA again, come December 25th.

This was my chance to greet everyone and the only time I will waste time talking about myself and anything non basketball/bobcats related, so thanks for reading about me and from now on, I’ll keep it relevant.
