It’s not a Roll, it’s a tear!

The Charlotte Bobcats are riding a 4 game win streak.  Pretty solid, but at times, very, very frustrating.  They were down most of the game against Miami, came back to win.  They let Golden State hang around.  They had 20 turn overs against both LA and Philadelphia.  But they won all 4.  Prior to the 4 wins, it was really hit and miss.  Losses against the Bucks, Clippers, Nets and the less shocking but still bad losses to Boston and Dallas punctuated a 2 week 2 and 6 record and allowed the Bobcats to slip out of the top 8 in the East.

I'm going to complain openly here for a second and it's not really directly related to the Bobcats on the court.  Consider this the Andy Rooney portion of the blog.  Some rules and personal requests:  If you've never been to a Bobcats game or anything in the "Big City" before, at least act like you have.  If you are excited for the Bobcats and know me as a big fan, don't come up and try and analyze games by saying "we" over and over.  Yes, I know it's a big time juxtaposition that the Bobcats are 4-2 against Cleveland and the Lakers but 4-5 against the Knicks, Nets and Pacers.  I get it, you're watching and enjoying and that's good but please realize, I'm in this for the long haul.

About the arena and the fans the last few have been great with sell outs against the  Cavs, Lakers and Warriors and just short of one the other night against Miami (a stinkin' TUESDAY!).  But there are some rules you need to follow if you go to the games.  #1: unless there is no one behind you you are not to back into any spot in a parking deck.  There are many spaces on many, many levels find a nice open area with lots of spots.  Don't try to put your Hummer H1 in a compact space on the 2nd level by backing in at the expense of all 30 of us behind you.  #2:  T-Shirts aren't that cool.  Boxing out granny, both your kids and 15 strangers surrounding you will not make you awesome for having a free t-shirt shot from a cannon at a basketball game.  You don't need or want or will ever wear it that much to embarrass yourself so bad.  #3:  Beers are delicious.  That's it.  #4:  your seat is limited to the area of the seat and one arm rest.  Do not turn sideways covering my area with your knees and then sigh loudly when I show up to take my spot and only my spot.  Which brings me to my next point:  #5: No one really cares your opinion.  If you think Kobe will be better than MJ, say it with your friends at the bar not to the drunks in line at the concession stand.  If you think the Bobcats are making horrible decisions, shout it towards the court not to me in the men's room.

That's it.  I'm sorry.  Back to basketball.  Stephen Jackson, while somewhat mental and possibly incredibly mad, is having an absolutely bang up year.
