Raja Bell may miss most of the season
This just in from Yahoo Sports, Raja Bell may miss most of the season. Larry Brown made the announcement following the Milwaukee Bucks loss this evenin.
Charlotte Bobcats starting shooting guard Raja Bell(notes) has a partially torn ligament in his left wrist that could require surgery and sideline him for most of the season. Coach Larry Brown made the announcement after Charlotte’s 94-87 exhibition victory over Milwaukee on Tuesday. Brown said Bell’s agent has requested a second opinion.
Going into the season, this is the last thing that we need.
While it’s unlikely he would continue to shoot such an abysmal percentage during the regular season, I can’t say I’m too upset by this. It could be worse … in my opinion Raja is the most expendable player in our core unit.
Not to mention we won last night without his veteran guidance and floor leadership. And 20% shooting.
