Look at all of these rumors surrounding me every day… But it’s not everyday that you hear one that is as juicy ( and ridiculously lopsided in favor of the Bobcats ) as this one.
The Denver Nuggets are having serious discussions about a four-way trade that would land Carmelo Anthony with the New Jersey Nets, according to sources with knowledge of the negotiations.
The proposed deal, sources said, also would involve the Utah Jazz and the Charlotte Bobcats. It would deliver Nets rookie forward Derrick Favors, Jazz veteran Andrei Kirilenko and multiple first-round picks to Denver in exchange for their franchise player, potentially bringing a resolution to Anthony’s uncertain future before the Nuggets hold their first practice of the new season.
Sources told ESPN.com that the deal, which has yet to be finalized, also would send former All-Star point guard Devin Harris to Charlotte, with Bobcats forward Boris Diaw moving to Utah.
The four teams, said one source close to the talks, are “seriously engaged” after extensive talks Thursday.
We are keeping our ears open for anything else that we hear on this potential deal and we promise that we will provide updates as soon as we hear anything.
The members of our forum are salivating at the possibility of this deal happening.
How do you feel about it?

Awesome! I hope this happens — would go a long way to solidifying this team.
Its such a steal for the Cats, that I’m having a hard time believing that it could actually happen.
I know … it’s like something out of XBox-world. If this comes to fruition, we’d have a more solid team than we ended the season with.
Ok so I’m a Utah boy, and don’t remember much about Diaw. Every cat fan is excited about it. Why is this? Is he a bum? Is he a distraction? Or is it that you are excited to get Devin Harris? Just curious, as I want to get a better idea of what we are getting into…. [sigh]
He is out of shape, soft, and very much a finesse player. But one thing thats good for you guys is that he usually kicks butt the first year following a trade. after that his play drops off substantially.
Thanks Kenny. We dealt with Ostertag so we’re used to players like that.
Gotta go find out how many more years he has on his contract…even though word here now on the local radio station is that Mello won’t sign the extension because it’s not one of the teams “on the list”. And if that doesn’t happen the whole deal falls through.
Either way, we get a ‘decent’ player and lose 13 million off of our payroll. That puts us under the Lux Tax which is what this entire mess is meant to do. Chow.
im a big bobcats fan and boris diaw is a solid player. I like him alot he can pass really well for a power forward and can play multiple positions. Its good were getting devin harris but at the same time we lose a bigman which is important in the nba. I also hate to see Dj Augustine go. I love Dj Augustine one of the pure point guards in the nba. He is a great passer and shooter and is quick. I want the bobcats to just get rid of diaw instead I would rather trade matt carrol and boris diaw then dj augustine.
What’s wit the weird 80s reject video?
