Jackson welcomes himself back to Golden State, Bobcats roll 121-110

The last time a star Warrior was traded to Charlotte for almost nothing and returned to Oracle Arena in Oakland, he was given a hero’s welcome. This time, the Warrior fans had little love for their former swingman. But in the end, it didn’t matter. Captain Jack came to play, as did his First Mate and the rest of his Crew.

Raja Bell chooses season ending surgery rather than play for the Golden State Warriors

Via Rotoworld
Raja Bell will have the season-ending wrist surgery he put off while with the Bobcats.
Bell would rather sit out the season than play for the Warriors and it’s hard to blame him as he is going to try to get healthy for a free-agent deal this summer. He’ll be an emergency player for Don Nelson tonight as they’ll only dress eight players, but expect the surgery to happen soon. Anthony Morrow, Steph Curry and Corey Maggette get a nice boost with this news.

Wow… Sucks to be the Warriors.

This was way, WAY more difficult than it should have been. We had all types of things go wrong this game that could have sunk us. We had missed free throws, ill-advised shots, turnovers, and rookie play from a rookie  that doesn’t normally play like a rookie. Despite all of those problems, we somehow managed to survive and get a win which brings our record to 24-35 which is currently 3 games behind the Bucks for the #8 spot in the playoffs. There are 23 games left and hope is …

Bobcats/Warriors Wrap-Up
Ahh, the joys of being a Bobcats fan.  One night you see the most complete game put together by a Bobcats team ever in a 29 point blowout in Memphis; the next night, at home, we’re treated to a 7 point loss at the hands of the Golden State Warriors.  Something really didn’t seem right last night.  It felt like a total screw-job by the refs but that’s easy to blame.  The fouls were actually pretty even when you look at the …

 Random thoughts about the game:
1.  It’s criminal that JD isn’t
geting any regular playing time.  Admittedly, he was playing against
their bench, but he was working his ass off on the boards, great
passes, and he did well on Jackson when he was still in the game in the
3rd.  What a waste
2.
This is the best kind of loss you can possibly ask for; you can have
your "moral victories" and the inherent heartbreak that accompanies it,
but give me a good ol’ ass kicking.  This was the least frustrating
loss …

It wasn’t exactly I Spit On Your Grave, but it was still pretty satisfying revenge: on Saturday the Bobcats reciprocated last week’s abomination to the Golden State Warriors with a 98-90 win. Both teams had played the night before—sort of; the Cats’ had their 20-point debacle in Cleveland, and the Warriors lost to Philly (only by 1, but the key words are “lost,” “to,” and “Philly,”)—so fatigue bogged things down at times.
Oh yeah, one other word about that Cleveland game (before I flush it out of my mind’s toilet): …

“After an emotional win last night,” commentator Matt Devlin said in the middle of the Bobcats blowout loss to Golden State, “you could see a game like this developing.” This game didn’t “develop” so much as it “detonated.” I didn’t hang around long enough to find out what the official Wachovia Pivotal Moment of the Game was, but my vote would have been for the tip-off. The Bobcats got off to about as good a start as those troopers jumping out of the boats in Saving Private Ryan, trailing 21-2 …
