First things first this Gerald Wallace windmill dunk was a thing of beauty, check out the video below and enjoy it for yourself. I’ll wait…
See, now that was worth it, wasn’t it?
On to the game. Because of the Knicks’ up-tempo style it was a fun game to watch. Stephen Jackson, Gerald Wallace and Raymond Felton combined for 11 steals. With the exception of some early hot perimeter shooting from Chris Duhon, those three tortured New York’s backcourt for the majority of the game. With all of the positives, the Bobcats …

The Charlotte Bobcats open things up tonight, what’s that? News just in to BCP, the Bobcats already played one game. Who knew? 58 points sounds like a women’s college score. Let’s just breathe though because this team is capable, what’s that? News just in to BCP, Raja Bell and Flip Murray are still out. This is getting scary.
The Knicks don’t present a tremendously daunting task. They have barely made an off-season move. I think athleticism wins out on the front line, with …

What the Hell just happened?
Did the New York Knicks just come into town and whoop the Bobcats ass? I know Ziggy and I sort of centered on Nate ”Little People, Big World” Robinson. We held him to what like 6 points? 2 of those were on last minute free throws. How did the Bobcats lose the game? The Knicks are horrible. I am going to have to be honest here, I had a lot to drink tonight pre-game, gametime, post-game,
That was last night . I’m up and at work finally, believe it …

New Year’s Eve, Eve, sounds exciting but to a Bobcats fan, it’s not. New York seems to have Charlotte’s number. 4 straight wins against Charlotte with the world’s biggest tiny bad attitude going for 20+ in 3 of those games. Nate Robinson is the bane of my existence as a player in the NBA. I don’t like the little guy plays hard and dunks attitude, because he tries to look like a bad-ass. Mugsey Bogues and Spud Webb (both had awesome nicknames by the …

With a few minutes left in the Bobcats blowout victory over New York, commentator Matt Devlin asked sidekick Stephanie Ready, “Would you agree that this is the best Bobcats stretch in the team’s history?” Like there are a bunch to choose from! This 9-7 run is really the only Bobcats stretch in their history. Matt might as well have asked Stephanie if she agreed that the songs off the Tubthumper album were the best stretch in Chumbawamba’s history.
The Bobcats beat up on the Knicks Wednesday night, and the Charlotte …

On Friday the Bobcats returned to the site of their most arduous disaster (and that’s just describing the 3rd quarter) this season: Madison Square Garden. The Knicks have improved to the point that losing to them is no longer shameful, but they still have a “Bad News Bears” look about them: a comically tiny kid (Nate Robinson), a comically fat kid (Eddy Curry), an evil coach, etc. They’re also in the process of buying out Steve Francis, which would complete an epically, biblically horrible personnel move by Coach/GM/Supreme Chancellor/Sith Lord …
