A few interesting links that I ran into today:
- Based on these comments, its obvious that Charley Rosen has NEVER watched Bernard Robinson play at the professional level … And he definitely hasn't seen that goofy spin move of his.
Here's a closer look at the Bernard Robinson for Jeff McInnis swap. The former is a wildly talented slasher, lacking a reliable long-range game, but virtually irresistible when he can run loose in an uptempo game. His fundamental shortcomings on defense are almost compensated for by his quickness in attacking wayward passes and careless dribbles. If the Nets can ever get their running game back in gear (a doubtful supposition given Kidd's advancing age, and Carter's preference for running isos in half-court sets), then B-Rob could turn out to be a steal.
- The Detroit Pistons need a backup point guard , and now that we have Jeff McInnis maybe they would have some interst in Brevin Knight once his abdominal situation is healed up.
- On a serious note, Jason Kidd has accused his wife of abusing their children .
